Huanggang Science and Technology Collaboration Zone Masterplan

Shenzhen is the leading technological hub in the Greater Bay Area, widely considered as China’s Silicon Valley. The Huanggang Port Area at the border of Shenzhen with Hong Kong has immediate access to both cities—a strategic place to become a pilot science center in China, which symbolizes the technological collaboration between the mainland and Hong Kong of China. The Shenzhen – Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone is a 1,200,000 sqm science research park connected to the dense urban development of Shenzhen’s Futian area and the ecological landscape in the New Territories of Hong Kong. Integrated with its immediate contexts, it is distinctive from typical research and development parks located at suburban areas and disconnected from its surroundings.
