Prins Clausplein
The South wing of The Hague is urbanizing at high speed and without a central vision, every municipality produces an unprecedented quantity of plans for its own isolation. The main consequence is that innumerable suburban extensions in this district are becoming one mass. This makes them uncontrollable separate of the historical centres of which they were an extension.
To us, the importance of the area lies in the way we look at it: it is not at the edge of 4 separate sites, it could be the centre of an even greater (yet to be defined) area. A new infrastructure is needed to defy the current barrier function which the highway imposes.
