Fondation Pinault

After closing the famous Renault factories on the French island Ile Seguin in 1989, several attempts to revitalize the once bustling area have been undertaken. Unfortunately most of them never passed the design phase. In 2000, however an ambitious plan to create an institute for one of the most important private art collection has been launched by longstanding Renault patron Francois Pinault.
