The Hospital of the Future

The Hospital of the Future was presented at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021. The installation included a film of the same title, which was first shown at Matadero Madrid in 2020, as part of the exhibition Twelve Cautionary Urban Tales. Developed in the context of a broader research project at OMA, the installation and film examine how the typology of the hospital might evolve in response to shifting demands in healthcare, technology and society—especially under the pressure of crisis.
