Miss Dior
Miss Dior: Stories of a Miss surveys 78 years of the iconic Miss Dior perfume, which first launched in 1947 alongside Christian Dior’s inaugural collection. Scenographic experiences spatialize Miss Dior’s history – from the perfume’s inspirations and development to related artist collaborations – as a series of thematically distinct, multisensory environments. Displayed contents span archival and reproduced documents, special-edition products, couture and ready-to-wear garments, and campaign imagery.
Each exhibition was tailored to its architectural and cultural context. For the first installment, in 2024 at Toyko’s Roppongi Museum, Miss Dior’s story unfolded over 850 square meters and nine rooms. The show in Shanghai’s Fosun Foundation, which encompasses 630 square meters, contains seven exhibits on the second floor and one ground-floor installation.
