Display of Displays

"Display of Displays" is the first temporary exhibition in OMA’s Small Hermitage - Kunsthalle – an unveiling and exploration of the Hermitage’s historic collection of display cases, exploring their significance as both historical records and works of art. In our work and presence at the Hermitage we have become complete fascinated by what at first appears invisible. The vitrines, designed primarily to enable visitors to see artifacts, and have been increasingly ignored as objects of interest, are of course themselves incredible artifacts.
