Thirty years ago the Berlin Wall fell. Thirty years ago Europe consisted of two Europes. Consequently Berlin consisted of two Berlins. Since the fall of the Wall, Europe got the wind in its sails. From 12 members in 1989, it now has 28. But not for long. With Brexit soon to be a reality and the rise of right-wing populism across the member states, what is the future of the Union? Where is the hope for a common future coming from?
